10/31/2025: Short and Sweet
I feel excited but also tired and overstimulated today. I’m reaching the end of one of my favorite festive months, and I think I’m feeling the comedown.
This afternoon will be filled with costumes, movies and fun at least, and tomorrow will be filled with pumpkin carving and spending time with dear friends. I’m so grateful for everything I got to do and get to do, but I’ll definitely be ready for some rest after everything is done.
Everything has felt on par with the season so far, and Denver hasn’t disappointed. The leaves are red and orange, the weather is crisp, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of it. I actually managed to watch all my movies on my list, and I’ve had enough candy to scare off any dentist in a ten mile radius. I’ve had so much fall-themed coffee and tea that I can’t keep up. Needless to say it’s been great.
As Halloween passes by and the holidays approach, I’ll look forward to time with loved ones and more seasonal memories. Until then, I’ll enjoy the rest of today and the weekend.
In the spirit of being overstimulated and at a loss for any more words than this, I’ll keep this one short and sweet today. Happy Halloween.
