Dear World

***Disclaimer: I got this idea from Pinterest, an exercise where you write a 20 word sentence, then a 19 word sentence, and so on, ending the story with one word.***

I hope before it’s too late that society realizes your value, that they will fight for your longevity and beauty.

I hope that powerful people are finally put in their proper place, somewhere far from their greedy overreaching agendas.

I hope humanity can salvage itself after such a hard and long fall from grace as a nation.

I hope that people don’t disregard the sparse silver linings in the midst of relentless dark clouds.

I hope the few that are fighting the good fight can continue to endure for you.

I hope the madness comes to an end, and that you can know peace again.

I hope you can smile at a healing world looking to a better tomorrow.

I hope that hope isn’t lost, that you haven’t given up on us.

I hope humanity is forced to take a long hard look, soon.

I hope it’s enough to set things in the right direction.

I hope for a world I can still dream in.

I hope more people are hoping for the same.

I hope I’m not among the hopeful few.

I hope I’m in an optimistic majority.

I hope for change, dear world.

I hope you’ll forgive us.

I hope for better.

Hope for you.

For us.

Everyone.

THE END
