(N)ever Have I Ever

***Disclaimer: I got this idea from Pinterest, an exercise where you write a 20 word sentence, then a 19 word sentence, and so on, ending the story with one word.***

Have you ever wanted something so much that you would do whatever it takes to make it all your own?

Have you ever looked back with regret after realizing you could have done more, had you not been complacent?

Have you ever squandered what you felt was your one and only opportunity to achieve your wildest dreams?

Have you ever been torn between the practical overdone thing and your heart’s desire to wholeheartedly rebel?

Have you ever mindlessly ran on the wheel, knowing you’re better suited for vastly greater things?

Have you ever taken the path of least physical resistance, but the one most identity-averse?

Have you ever hated what the rest of the world wants you to be?

Have you ever wished that people like us could actually chase their dreams?

Have you ever wondered why we accept soul-draining ideologies as the norm?

Have you ever wished life as we know it would end?

Have you ever wanted to run in the opposite direction?

Have you ever wanted more for yourself, the world?

Have you ever wanted to be truly seen?

Have you ever taken such a risk?

Have you ever just had enough?

Have you ever wanted change?

Ever have I ever.

Today and forever.

Have you?

Ever?
