Murderers and Criminals All

***Disclaimer: I got this idea from Pinterest, an exercise where you write a 20 word sentence, then a 19 word sentence, and so on, ending the story with one word.***

It’s hard to capture the amount of anger and sadness inside me after the events of the last couple weeks.

I’ve thought it through and I’ve talked it out multiple times, and I’m still enraged at the false narratives.

Within a few weeks time, a woman lost her wife, and their children lost their good, loving mother.

Parents lost a beloved son, a pillar of the community and a believer in basic human rights.

All in the same city, as if the people protesting and mourning there haven’t had enough.

As if this country needs any other reason to be heartbroken, to be fed up.

From afar, I stand with those people out there, relentlessly fighting the good fight.

Through my words, I hope that more people can understand a little better.

We must look with our eyes, not listen to made up stories.

Stop eating and regurgitating the bias that you hear on TV.

If it was the whole story, it would be different.

Too bad none of it is the truth, though.

They’re all “domestic terrorists,” out to hurt officers.

They’re hostile, they’re uncooperative with law enforcement.

But they’re not really law enforcement.

They’re immune, trigger happy murderers.

We must stop them.

Hear us now.

We’re done.

ENOUGH.

THE END
