Do You Really Want it All?
***Disclaimer: I got this idea from Pinterest, an exercise where you write a 20 word sentence, then a 19 word sentence, and so on, ending the story with one word.***

Lately, I’ve been contemplating what it would mean for us to turn our backs on the life we know now.
I don’t know if I’d do anything differently upfront if given the chance, but now I have fresh perspective.
All I know is what I want now, and that’s for my husband and me to be happy.
Right now, the current job and the money aren’t worth the emotional strain on either of us.
With the promise of a simpler but more enriched life, we’re ready to consider drastic change.
We know now that money isn’t everything, and now we actually know what we want.
And the kicker is, we can have it if we give this all up.
All the money, the stress and the distance from loved ones, for betterment.
For the sake of our creative passions, our individual and mutual dreams.
What’s love if you don’t have anyone to share it with?
What’s money if you’re just wasting it on material things?
I think that simplicity is one of life’s secrets.
It’s quality over quantity, as people always say.
But do they practice what they preach?
I found that they often don’t.
And I actually want to.
So here we go.
Into the unknown.
Terrified, excited.
Together.
